Ground Control Launches Dual Matrix Satellite Service Designed for the IPA Isis Dual Satellite Network
A new mobile satellite hardware solution provides critical dual satellite redundancy increasing reliability for emergency management communications
Ground Control Systems, Inc., a leading satellite internet and voice provider, and IP Access International (IPA), a global commercial satellite service provider of voice, video and data network solutions today announced that Ground Control has launched its Dual Matrix satellite service on their line of mobile satellite hardware.
This solution was created to address the critical communications needs of emergency responders, and engineered expressly for the recently announced IPA Isis Network. Ground Control is currently showcasing the Dual Matrix communications platform this week at the International Disaster Conference & Expo(IDCE) in New Orleans, LA January 8-10 with future shows planed in 2013.
By having redundant satellite options and independent earth stations on both coasts means Ground Control’s Dual Matrix can guarantee communications in a regional disaster that no other mobile communication solution offers. Others may offer multiple satellites, but all are directed toward the same terrestrial facility, or require tedious and complicated overrides that are eliminated with the one button push offered by the Dual Matrix service.
